GOOD OL' PHIL! PRESIDENT OF THE FA AT WEMBLEY

1958 FA Cup Final Wembley. I can recognise Bobby Charlton "our" left of the handshaker and the little Ernie Taylor v Bolton Wanderers 2-0 win. Phil was President of the FA 1955-7 and regular presence at the Cup Final from 1949, his first. He was made an Honorary member of the FA in 1966.

Nottingham Forest in trendy tracksuits before the 1959 FA Cup Final at Wembley. Did they regret that?

No doubt the Duke will have had a quip to share with his hostess.
