This weekend is special one for Brentford FC, a team cleverly managed by Thomas Frank, that played its first game in the Premier League today. It was against "local rivals?" Arsenal. Goals in the 22 minute from Sergi Canos and one in the 73rd from Cristian Norgaard secured an historic 2-0 win at the Hive. be rest assured that their squad is multi-nagtional!
Next game away at Crystal Palace and then a League Cup tie against another inventive club, Forest Green Rovers.
I discovered that I have given Brentford FC a fair bit of time and space in this blog, mind you it does go back a while, so not such a big deal. The Bees need their freedom. Here are a couple of offerings from The Hive.
