HARD TO SAY!

On the 18th September 1990, one of those European nights, we expect big crowds, plenty of atmosphere, for a special occasion. But not necessarily in Iceland, where Dundee United visited Hafnarfjörður for a UEFA Cup First Round tie, generating the attendance of a massive....263!!!

Fimleikafélag Hafnarfjorður IN English= Hafnarfjörður Gymnastics Club, commonly referred to as FH, is a multi-sports club based in Hafnarfjordur. (spot the "fjord" part of the name helping describe its location!) and maybe try to say this club name? Go on....

The club competes in football, athletics, fencing, handball and gymnastics. It was founded in 1929 as a gymnastics' club but soon started a handball department which became its flagship for several decades. Its men's football team has been a dominant power in Iceland, since the early 2000s.  Its men's team currently plays in the fourth tier of Finnish football (Kolmonen), and its women's team is playing in Kakkonen
Kolmonen or III divisioona is the fourth level in the country's league system and comprises 104 teams. The III divisioona was introduced in 1973 and in the mid-1990s became known as the Kolmonen (Number Three in English).
