NON-LEAGUE DAY COMING SOON

It was Non-League Day on September 6th 2013 and Bungay Town from the Anglian Combination saw a rise in their attendance figures by 70% when they paid everyone 5p to come and watch their game.
The following year it was a punnet of mushrooms per family, donated by a local farmer that attracted a crowd double the size of their normal attendance.
During the war their stand at the Recreation Ground was hit by a German bomb and so the club had to move. This was a decent idea having been playing on a quagmire of a pitch due to its floodplain location. They moved to Maltings Meadows in 1953, on safer ground. Despite being a Suffolk town, Bungay FC play their games in Norfolk.
Bungay Town FCFounded in 1925 there were spells in the club's successful history when they attracted crowds of four figures. These days it's more like lower three.
