Not quite sure where in Europe the English football team can travel without fearing racial abuse, but in the news over the past few days various players have been announcing their intention to walk off a pitch if they experience racial abuse during their Euro matches coming up this week.
Tammy Abraham is reported to be one of the England team that will walk off the pitch if there is any repeat of past unpleasantries he has witnessed.

England plays the Czech Republic in Prague on Friday 11th and then on the 14th in Sofia, Bulgaria, where the Vasil Levski stadium already has a Uefa "reduced capacity order" from a recent incident when Bulgaria played the Czechs and Kosovo in June.

In Montenegro last March the England team was abused by home fans and the national FA was fined £18,000 and their next international game staged behind closed doors.

Leaving the field without Uefa consent could possibly bring England a forfeit of points but Abraham says that shouldn't influence the team's reaction.

Typically the FA has produced a diplomatic three point plan, should the English team be subject to abuse:
1. report any event to the referee.
2. this should lead to a stadium announcement, if that does not help, leave the field.
3. the players will then be consulted by Uefa officials as to whether they should return to the pitch.

If England win their game against the Czechs on Friday, they will qualify for Euro 2020.

The key is to act as a team not an individual.
