AJAX-CRUYFF-FEYENOORD

When the Dutch club, Ajaxdecided not to offer Johan Cruyff a new contract at the end of the 1982/3 season, the decision would back fire on them, spectacularly. The three times Ballon d'Or winner was so upset by the decision, that he joined Ajax's arch rivals, Feyenoordand led his new club to the "Double" including their first league title for a decade. The Dutch "master" played his final match on this day in 1984 with a 2-1 win over PEC Zwolle.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZnq-RqZ63U
