The title is a quote from from last night's England's hat trick hero, at Brighton's Amex Stadium, Beth Mead. Going into the "break", England were 6 up and this proved to be a record equalling score, being the most goals scored in a half, by a team in a European Women's Championship match. England have scored 6+ in internationals on four occasions: v Argentina 6-1 in 2007 World Cup in China: v Scotland 6-0 Euro 2017: v South Africa 6-0 in Cyprus Cup 2009: v Norway Euro 2022.

Yes, I know, I have published this one "recently" but it was so full of interest (well I think so) then why not draw it to your attention again and maybe you will pass it on. The 2022 UEFA Women's tournament is well on its way with Norway, having scored 4 against Northern Ireland, who managed one, at Southampton.
England played Norway last night, having sneaked a 1-0 win over Austria in their first game. England, expecting a tough match, were impressive, winning 8-0 and therefore already qualifying for the quarter-finals. England's next group match is against Northern Ireland on Friday 15th: 8pm. This may be used as a "squad" game.
Tonight Denmark play Finland and Germany meet Spain.
