ROONEY-CROOTY BANGERS

Wayne Rooney is fulfilling a life time dream having claimed to have eaten 13 sausages in one sitting, along with some mash and beans, by giving his name to a Croots' Sausage known as a "Bangerooney". The farm and cafe is run  and owned by Steve and Kay Croot at Farnah House Farm, Wirksworth Road, Duffield, Derbyshire.

They have generously announced that 10% of the proceeds from the sales of the pork and caramelised sausage, spiced with black pepper, will go towards the Childrens' Holiday Home at Skegness. Selling at £9.99 a kilo, the sausages have been recognised in the awarding of the "Best Small Farm Shop Retail Awards" to the Croot family, see dad below.
