Yes I know the link is long and I have had this issue before but I can't be bothered with the "advise"  from the www. on how to shorten a video link. I'm sure its dead easy.

What does happen in this link, is that Billy Bremner (BB) and Kevin Keegan (KK) become the first football pairing that have "double initials", to be sent off at Wembley, in an FA Charity Shield Match.....the "Jewel in the Crown" for the FA and Football League; the opening of a new season.

On August 10th 1974, it all kicked off. Bob Matthewson was the unlucky referee.

It was the 52nd "Charity Shield", now known as the Community Shield, the FA /FL showpiece was played in front of 52,000. The match was not shown live on TV but did appear on television later. Cherry and Boersma scored the goals in a 1-1 draw and then penalties went to sudden death with Liverpool winning 6-5. David Harvey, the Leeds GK missed in sudden death. The game ended with some charity, Clemence scored.

Although Bill Shankly had just retired from managing Liverpool, Bob Paisley and his team agreed to let Bill lead the team out. Don Revie had also gone from Leeds to manage England and he was offered the same treat but Don declined the offer to lead the Leeds boys out. So new manager, Brian Clough did, though of course, his reign at Elland Road did not last longer than 44 days.

This link is very good!

It was quite a good game! Not entirely sure about the haircuts nor David Harvey's "throw out", nor why Giles stayed on the pitch. Brian Clough and Bill Shankly seemed to enjoyed it sitting next to each other on the bench and sharing the game. Who was Peter Cormack?
When did Pat Jennings score a goal in another FA Charity Shield? and the referee was? Yes, Eric Jennings....no relation.
