Here's yesterday's posting....,Kevin Keegan and his publicity team thought it was a good idea to get KK up the charts with his second disc, "Head over Heels" which on June 9th 1979, reached 31st in the UK Charts. Kevin's previous attempt "It Ain't Easy" bombed in 1972. His observant marketing team spotted that since Kev was playing in Hamburg, Germany at the time and they made sure the record crossed the channel and so, "Head Over Heels" made 10th in their charts. Yes, the Germans always had a funny sense of humour. In 1980 he tried singing again, this time, in England with a recording called "England"! But that didn't raise Keegan's status in the UK charts; however, please note that the Gallagher brothers didn't make the Manchester City first team either.
